Angel Rashmi D'Souza

Vidushi Angel Rashmi started her journey in dance at age of three. As a child, she was passionate and gifted in many forms of Dance. She holds the degree in bharathanatyam, semi classical and folk. She began her own dance school, "Angels Bharathiya Nruthya kala school" at the age of 16 in Madikeri. Along with her husband, Arpith Anoop Dsouza , she turned it into "Angels' wings school" of dance at Kushalnagar in 2003. Now, Angels' wings school of dance is a garden for hundreds of young buds who is being trained in Bharathanatyam and Western that includes skating dance as well. It has created a wave of love for dance and art in coorg where thousands of people have admired it for it' s achievements. Hundreds of young buds who have been trained by her, have received National awards, State awards and local awards representing Angels' wings school of Dance. She had presented the art on more than 1000+ stages. The very special thing about her institution is that they take the young ones, as young as age of three to 10 years old,to national stages at the beginning phase of their dance journey. Her peculiar heart for Dance more than three decades now, have been a enormous contribution to the Art. And it has embraced her back with hundreds of awards and honors, a few to name are :"Zanak Zanak Reality show winner (Asianet Plus) in 2005 ", “Rashtriya Natya kala Nandi”, “Rashtriya Natya Bhoga Nandeeshwara”, “Rashtriya Natya Kala Thilaka”, and “Rashtriya Natya Ratnakara".

With all such honors, she relentlessly continues to lend her knowledge and experience in dance to train more and more children through Angels' wings school of dance.
